Introduction to Alpine Ski Touring

The Alps are by far Europe’s finest and most rewarding chain of mountains. They offer a superb environment in which to learn all the delights of ski touring. Travelling on skis through the Alps is one of life’s greatest pleasures.

My Introduction to Alpine Ski Touring week is based in Arolla, in the Val d’ Herens, Switzerland.

Over 6 days you will learn all the necessary techniques for safe alpine ski touring aswell as undertaking a 3 day hut to hut tour.

You will require a good level of fitness for this week. A good, stable ski technique is recommended. Ski touring, by nature, involves great, but often challenging off piste descents. Some off piste experience is recommended.

Introduction to Alpine Ski Touring. £500 per person. Price covers guides fee and hut costs.

Minimum of 4 people required.
