Haute Route March 2009
~ Monday, 30th March 2009Wow! The weather gods were looking after us last week.
Superb weather and very quiet huts made for a really enjoyable early season Haute Route. Ed Pugh, Charlie Frisby, Rhodri Darch, Rob Jarvis and myself took six days to complete the journey from Chamonix to Zermatt. 
Our route took us to the Trient hut, Mont Fort hut, Rosablanche, Prafleuri hut, Dix hut, La Luette, Pigne d'Arolla and the Vignettes hut.
Clear but cool days gave us great skiing conditions and views.
